How It Works
.The Mobile Wellness Units
Our Mobile Wellness Units serve as traveling community wellness centers, designed to make health support, fresh food, and wellness education accessible to neighborhoods that experience significant barriers to care. These vehicles are intentionally designed to be welcoming, culturally familiar, and approachable, offering resources and support in a way that feels natural and community-centered.
Inside Each Mobile Unit
Each unit is a converted box truck or van equipped with the tools and spaces necessary to support community health needs:
-
Refrigerated storage to safely hold fresh produce and culturally relevant foods.
-
A wellness screening station offering blood pressure checks, glucose monitoring, and BMI assessments.
-
A sound system playing culturally-relevant music, creating a familiar, uplifting, and recognizable presence.
-
Educational resources with health, nutrition, and support information tailored to the neighborhoods we serve.
-
Folding tables and engagement materials for food distribution, group conversations, and interactive learning.
-
Full wrap vehicle branding that reflects community identity and acknowledges program partners and sponsors.
These mobile units transform everyday gathering spaces into wellness hubs, making care accessible, consistent, and rooted in community pride.
Weekly Route Schedule
Our schedule is intentional and predictable, ensuring community members can count on us. We return to the same neighborhoods, same times, every week, building trust through consistent presence.
